A Week of Giving Thanks

I just love Thanksgiving.  It is definitely one
of my favorite days of the year.  In the U.S.,
it is a day dedicated to giving thanks for all
our blessings.  And, give thanks we did!

My son took it upon himself to lead us in rounds of "what are you thankful for?" -- going round and round the
table.  After he got an answer from one person, he'd move to the next, "And, what are you thankful for, Granddaddy?"

At his bidding, we did these rounds of appreciation at several meals.  The things we can appreciate are infinite, really.

I use the power of gratitude a lot.  In fact, I recently did a sort of Gratitude Audit of my life and found that I
incorporate it into my routine in dozens of ways.

In fact, I am planning a party I'll be throwing on my birthday this year, and I am calling it a "Festival of Gratitude." 

I am excited about it.  I am planning to make a wall of gratitude on which I'll post at least one thing I am grateful
about each person who is invited to the party.  How fun!

Gratitude Flower?

I've often wondered through the years,
just in passing, if there is a
"gratitude flower," a flower whose
energy is that of gratitude. 

All flowers are expressions of gratitude and appreciation for our BEingness. 

The energy of blossoming is like a
celebration of our physical expression.

This thanks-filled energy of gratitude and appreciation is one of the overriding energies of ALL flowers.  It is part of
the core of uplifting energies that make a flower a flower.

Affirmation:
Like flowers, I celebrate and appreciate the joy of living my life every day.
