Flower Life June 2009 Flowers Everywhere
My peonies are just starting to bloom. Yippee! They are so lovely, and their scent is just magical. And, they get me thinking about infinite abundance of all kinds. For instance, I started shooting pictures of my first peony to open. I find them breath-takingly beautiful. I could shoot a peony all day and all night, and I realized that with ONE, single flower, there are infinite possibilities for capturing it in a photograph -- different angles, different lighting, different apertures and backgrounds, close-up details, full flower, stem/no stem, lenses with special effects... And, that's just the shooting of the picture. Then, I go to my virtual darkroom and again, I have infinite possibilities with just one captured image. Ansel Adams likened a photographic negative to the score of a symphony, never played the same way -- different conductors, different soloists,... And, I could carry on about infinite possibility - infinitely. Anyway, remember the energy of peony flowers: they help us to connect with our own Infinite Abundance. And, if you haven't done so already, please go ahead and download my F/R-E-E Peonies and Abundance Meditation available on my website, just click here. Also, see below for more information about an exciting summer series of teleseminars I am hosting on a wide range of topics.

Stop and See the Flowers The more aware of flowers I become, the more I notice them EVERYWHERE. Right now the only showy flowers blooming in my yard are the peonies. I also have at least eight different tiny little flowers blooming in my lawn -- led, of course by white and red clover and yellow dandelions. I also have several different very tiny flowers whose names I do not know -- two different yellows, a white, a blue, and a dark purple, and the more I look the longer the list gets. (When I Started this note to you, I was thinking of four and then went out and saw four more!) They are so beautiful and yet so easily overlooked. It is fun and exciting to see an unexpected flower. Open your heart and be alert with your eyes, and you'll start seeing flowers everywhere, too! And, you'll notice them in other places as well, in designs all around you. I'm feeling the urge to braid clover crowns. Maybe I'll add some of the other wee lawn flowers to the garlands. If I do, I'll be sure to share photos! Flower Affirmation: I open my heart, and I see flowers all around me. I live a flowerful life. |
