| FlowerVibrations@KatherineCHE.com www.CultivatorOfJoy.com Flower Life October 2009 Caper Flowers
Many years ago, I had the great good fortune to live and study photography in one of the most beautiful cities in the world: Firenze (Florence). It was intimidating at first to find my own path to artistic expression in a place bursting with some of the best-loved art in the world. My entire environment had been the object of artistic exploration in every namable medium for centuries. It was a challenge to find my place. The weight of the cumulative artistic genius there felt oppressive to me at first. I did break-through by exploring the universal beauty of pattern and shapes through my lens. I found my little crack, my path, and I began to reach for the sun. In a bit of a full-circle moment, the director of my art school, Leo Forte, sent me photos of these ephemeral flowers and their story (more below). If you are ready to break through this oppressive economic climate and find your place in Infinite Abundance, join me on this f/r/e-e call. Just click here to claim your spot (and abundance!)
| Caper Flowers Within each of us is all we need to become fully realized -- just as the caper flower is in the caper seed. According to tradition, caper flowers will not grow if planted by humans. They chose where they grow, and they usually choose locations that provide seemingly low odds for success. They seem to like to grow up and out of cracks in sidewalks, for instance. Thus, they have a reputation for decorating otherwise grim prospects. In fact, Leo told me that he had been blessed with gorgeous caper flowers at one end of his patio. When he repaired the patio wall, he despaired at what he thought was the certain loss of their delicate blossoms by his home. They had been growing out of an old tree trunk that the workmen removed as they repaired the wall. How delighted and amazed he was when he discovered that somehow some part of the plant had survived! They continue to bloom and thrive to this day on the edge of his patio. Caper flowers demonstrate for us the strength of the urge of the Universe to create beauty and to BECOME. Affirmation:
Like Caper Flowers, I can find my way to the sun and to blossom -- no matter what! | In Joy and With Love,
